Rigs of Rods is a realistic 3D simulator game for ground, air and water vehicles.
Unlike other simulators, vehicles in this game are soft-body objects which respond to the laws of physics. That means in Rigs of Rods the entire vehicle has an accurate behavior depending on the objects is is created from. Based on the realism envolved in simulation, Rigs of Rods is similar to X-Plane.
- Soft-body physics.
- simulation takes into account gravity force and weight distribution, building of vehicle and suspension
- flying models have a realistic simulation which consider the airfoils and geometry of the aircraft .
- naval models benefit from pressure gradients simulation resulting in realistic buoyancy
- dual-core support
- multithreading and CUDA future support
- Based on the OGRE Graphics Engine.
